Welcome to THE Ultimate Fitness Center, HARD KNOCKS GYM. We have been transforming body, mind, and spirit for over a decade. Our workout facility is like no other. Our experienced trainers and our fitness training are only a few of the things that make Hard Knocks Gym so unique. Our spacious club, incomparable amenities, and comfortable atmosphere makes getting fit a truly inspiring adventure.
We offer a wide range of private and group classes, all professionally designed and led, that target your unique needs. You will not be lost in a crowd. Our class sizes are limited and offered frequently, enabling our professional trainers to spend the time necessary to maximize results. We offer private classes in weight-training, nutrition, and cardiovascular endurance. Our group classes include Boxing, Kickboxing, Kempo (Kajukenbo), Aerobic Kickboxing, Jujitsu & MMA and Wrestling. New classes are added all the time.
Hard Knocks Gym features a complete workout facility two floors. But we do not rely on equipment to make us the leader in fitness. We understand that knowledgeable courteous staff is essential to your, and our, success. Our trainers have all been educated and certified in their respective fields of expertise. We require a deep knowledge of physiology and fitness, as well as a friendly and understanding demeanor. Our trainers are not here to judge you; they are here to support you on your journey.

FITNESS TIP OF THE WEEK
In general when you run, you do not always want to be pushing yourself to the absolute maximum of your fitness/cardiorespiratory ability. If you're trying to run to stay in good shape and have god heart health, a good test is called the 'Talk Test'. If while running you can still talk and carry on a conversation with little difficulty, you are running at a good pace.
If you are running so hard that you have great difficulty speaking, maybe tone it down a little bit; and if carrying on a conversation is easy, push yourself a little bit more.
Again, you should be exercising so that you are pushing yourself, and the Talk Test is a good way to check if you're giving yourself a good aerobic workout. Try it the next time you go on a run with a friend, or even during a workout.
